AURORA RUMÍ

Licenciada en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Granada, completa su formación en De Montfort  University , Leicester y en la Escola Massana, Barcelona. Hasta el 2009 se dedica de lleno a la pintura y  realiza exposiciones fuera y dentro de España, destacando Madrid, Paris y Barcelona. Un caracter ávido de  nuevas experiencias vuelve su trabajo inquieto entre tendencias. Más adelante combinará la pintura con  técnicas de diseño gráfico e ilustración . En busca de un trazo más simplificado pasa de la pintura  hiperrealista de su serie Playa al dibujo a tinta monocromático y funda en 2010 la tienda online New Inks on  the Block , centrada en decoración de interiores y diseño textil.  En la actualidad trabaja como ilustradora, combina el lápiz con la paleta gráfica, y su obra sintetiza la  agilidad y rapidez del dibujo con acabados más madurados y pictóricos.

Graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Granada, she completed her training at De Montfort University, Leicester and at the Escola Massana, Barcelona. Until 2009 she dedicated herself fully to painting and exhibited her work in Spain and abroad, especially in Madrid, Paris and Barcelona. An avid character for new experiences makes his work restless between trends. Later he will combine painting with graphic design and illustration techniques. In search of a more simplified line, she moved from the hyperrealist painting of her series Playa to monochromatic ink drawing and founded in 2010 the online shop New Inks on the Block, focused on interior decoration and textile design. She currently works as an illustrator, combining pencil with the graphic palette, and her work synthesises the agility and speed of drawing with more mature and pictorial finishes.
